DESTINY LIFE SCHOOLS

Impacting the Child for Greatness

                                 HISTORY

Destiny Life Schools, Amawom, Oboro Ikwuano LGA Abia State Nigeria started on the 13th January, 2014.

The school was born out from Destiny Computers and Study Centre Amawom which began in August 2013.

Destiny Computers and Study Centre Amawom was established to meet the needs of secondary school students and pupils in the primary school during the Holidays.

During the long vacation in August, few students and pupils attended morning lessons at Destiny Computers and Study Centre while few others of the working class and school leavers enrolled for computer training.

It was during this period that the vision of the school was caught by a young missionary named Anyadike Emeka Godfrey who was also the Director of Destiny Computers and Study Centre Amawom.

On Monday 13th January 2014, he started the school which he named Destiny Life Schools. The school was started with two (2) children:

David Bassey and Kamsiriochi Ogechi.

David Bassey was admitted into Nursery one class while Kamsiriochi Ogechi was admitted into creche.

He employed the services of a young woman by name Vivian Ngozi Okezie, who became the founding teacher of the school. She was a very humble and caring lady. She laid the foundation of the school and handed over to her little sister Onyinyechi Grace Okezie, who also contributed greatly to the building up of the school to its present height.

Presently, the school has grown from creche to Basic 5 class.
